Democrats Use DNC Headquarters as Collateral.

It's being reported that the Democratic National Committee put its Washington headquarters up as collateral for a $15 million line of credit last year.

That’s a story, but not a big one. The party has used the building as collateral before.

What’s more interesting is the contrast between the parties. The DNC reportedly ended June with $16.3 million in cash and $18.5 million in debts and loans. The RNC had $128.5 million and no debt.

The building isn’t the story. The balance sheet is.
