“We are NOT gonna win”: James Carville Tells Democrats to Drop the Voter ID Fight.
You never hear Democrats say to give up on something. That’s what makes this so unusual.
James Carville, the former Clinton strategist, is telling Democrats, “It’s over. We’ve lost,” on the issue of voter ID. His point is that 75% or more of people in polls say voters should have to show some kind of ID.
It’s common sense.
The fact that Democrats have fought it for as long, and as hard, as they have is becoming more and more of a “tell” about what their real agenda is.
Carville is saying: Give it up. You’ve lost. Stop fighting the tide.
He’s right.
