Kalshi bettors now think Marco Rubio will not only win the Republican nomination for president, but go on to win the White House.

His lead over J.D. Vance is tiny—just one point—but the shift is still significant. The tide is slowly turning in Rubio’s favor as Trump loads him up with titles and responsibilities and repeatedly praises him.

Social media may be helping shape the race. Rubio increasingly appears in memes much as Trump does: exaggeratedly masculine, powerful and in command.

Vance has been assigned a very different character. Unfortunately for him, he has become the lovable, curly-haired fat guy who is enthusiastically involved in everything—but never as masculine as Rubio.
